আইইএলটিএস: যা যা জানা প্রয়োজন

IELTS = International English Language Testing System

আইইএলটিএস সম্পর্কে অতি প্রয়োজনীয় কিছু তথ্য:

• আইইএলটিএস পরীক্ষা দুই ধরনের– আইইএলটিএস একাডেমিক এবং আইইএলটিএস জেনারেল ট্রেনিং।
• আইইএলটিএস পরীক্ষায় থাকে চারটি সেকশন– লিসনিং (৩০ মিনিট), রিডিং (৬০ মিনিট), রাইটিং (৬০ মিনিট) এবং স্পিকিং (১১-১৪ মিনিট)। মোট সময়: ২ ঘণ্টা ৪৫ মিনিট।
• আইইএলটিএস পরীক্ষার টেস্ট রিপোর্ট ফর্ম (টিআরএফ) অর্থাৎ ফলাফল কার্যকর থাকে ২ (দুই) বছর।
• আপনি যেকোনো সময় পুনরায় আইইএলটিএস পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারবেন এবং সেটা পারবেন যতবার ইচ্ছা ততবার।
• আইইএলটিএস পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণের জন্য কোনো বয়সসীমা নেই তবে সাধারণত পরীক্ষার্থীদের ১৬ বছর কিংবা তার চেয়ে বেশি বয়সে পরীক্ষা দেয়ার জন্য পরামর্শ দেয়া হয়।
• আইইএলটিএস পরীক্ষার জন্য রেজিস্টার করার সময় আপনি যদি পাসপোর্ট বা এনআইডি নম্বর ভুল দিয়ে থাকেন তাহলে স্পিকিং অথবা রিটেন টেস্টের সময় ডিউটি সুপারভাইজারকে অবহিত করলে সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভাগ এ ব্যাপারে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নেবে।
• আইইএলটিএস পরীক্ষার ফলাফল কতদিনে পাওয়া যায় সেটা জানার জন্য নিচে দেখুন:

♦ টেস্ট সেন্টারে আইইএলটিএস অন পেপার- পরীক্ষার তারিখের পর ১৩তম দিন

♦ টেস্ট সেন্টারে আইইএলটিএস অন কমপিউটার- পরীক্ষার তারিখের পর ৩-৫ দিনে (ইউরোপ এবং যুক্তরাজ্যে ১-৫ দিনে)

♦ আইইএলটিএস অনলাইন- ৬-৮ দিনে

♦ আইইএলটিএস ফর ইউকেভিআই(ভিসাস এন্ড ইমিগ্রেশন) অন পেপার- পরীক্ষার তারিখের পর ১৩তম দিন

♦ আইইএলটিএস ফর ইউকেভিআই(ভিসাস এন্ড ইমিগ্রেশন) অন কমপিউটার- পরীক্ষার তারিখের পর ৩-৫ দিনে (ইউরোপ এবং যুক্তরাজ্যে ১-৫ দিনে)

♦ আইইএলটিএস ফর লাইফ স্কিলস- পরীক্ষার তারিখের পর ৭ম দিন

• There are two types of the IELTS test: IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training.
• The IELTS test has four sections– Listening (30 minutes), Reading (60 minutes), Writing (60 minutes) and Speaking (11-14 minutes). The total test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
• An IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) is valid for two (2) years.
• You can re-take the test at any time and a candidate can take the test as many times as they wish.
• There is no age limit, but IELTS is generally recommended for candidates at the age of 16 or more.
• If you have entered the wrong passport/NID number at the time of registration, notify the duty supervisor during speaking or written test, the concerned department will do the needful.
• Time required to get IELTS Results:

♦ IELTS on paper: Online results will be available in the test taker portal on the 13th day after the test date.

♦ IELTS on computer: Results will be available online within 3-5 days after the test date in the test taker portal. (In Europe and the UK, your results will be available between 1-5 days)

♦ UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI): Results will be available online on the 13th day after the test date. (In Europe and the UK, your results will be available between 1-5 days)

♦ CD UKVI and Life Skills: Results will be available online on the 7th day after the test date.

♦ Hard copies of the TRF are sent through courier to the registered address within 3-7 days. Please make sure to provide a complete and valid address during the registration to avoid further delay in delivering the TRF.
