যুক্তরাজ্যের ইউনিভার্সিটি অভ পোর্টসমাউথ-এর বিজনেস অ্যান্ড ল বিভাগের সাথে চট্টগ্রামের ইস্ট ডেল্টা ইউনিভার্সিটি-এর স্কুল অভ বিজনেস অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেশন বিভাগের মেমোরেন্ডাম অভ আর্টিকুলেশন (এমওএ) স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে।
ভার্চুয়ালি এই এমওএ স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ইউনিভার্সিটি অভ পোর্টসমাউথ-এর বাংলাদেশ আঞ্চলিক ব্যবস্থাপক মো. নুরুজ্জামান, ইস্ট ডেল্টা ইউনিভার্সিটির উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. মোহাম্মদ নাজিম উদ্দিন, স্কুল অভ বিজনেস অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেশনের এসোসিয়েট ডীন অধ্যাপক ড. রাশেদ আল করিম, অন্যান্য অনুষদ সদস্য ও ইস্ট ডেল্টা ইউনিভার্সিটির এক্সটার্নাল এনগেজমেন্ট টিম, ডেপুটি ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর (গ্লোবাল এনগেজমেন্ট অ্যান্ড স্টুডেন্ট লাইফ) ক্রিস চ্যাং, অ্যাসোসিয়েট প্রো ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর (গ্লোবাল এনগেজমেন্ট) ববি মেহতা, ডিরেক্টর অভ গ্লোবাল এনগেজমেন্ট এমা পেইন, হেড অভ ইন্টারন্যাশনাল রিক্রুটমেন্ট ভারত সাখুজা, রিজিওনাল রিক্রুটমেন্ট ডিরেক্টর (ভারত, বাংলাদেশ, শ্রীলঙ্কা এবং নেপাল) অনামিকা সাক্সেনা, ফ্যাকাল্টি অভ বিজনেস অ্যান্ড ল-এর এসোসিয়েট ডীন ড. ডোমিনিক পেইজ, ফ্যাকাল্টি অভ বিজনেস অ্যান্ড ল-এর গ্লোবাল এনগেজমেন্ট এসোসিয়েট ডীন ডেভিড ওয়ার্ড এবং টিএনই পার্টনারশিপ ম্যানেজার জো হল।
এই স্মারক স্বাক্ষরের ফলে ইস্ট ডেল্টা ইউনিভার্সিটির-এর শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে দুই বছরের শিক্ষা সম্পন্ন করার পর ইউনিভার্সিটি অভ পোর্টসমাউথে এক বছর অধ্যয়ন করতে পারবে।
উল্লেখ্য, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় দু’টির মধ্যে আগে সমঝোতা স্মারক (এমওইউ) স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছিল।

University of Portsmouth signs MoA with EDU
A Memorandum of Articulation (MoA) was signed between the Business and Law Department of the University of Portsmouth, UK and the School of Business Administration of East Delta University, Chattogram.
The virtual MoA signing ceremony was attended by Bangladesh Regional Manager of University of Portsmouth Md. Nuruzzaman, Vice Chancellor of East Delta University Professor Dr. Mohammad Nazim Uddin, Associate Dean of School of Business Administration Professor Dr. Rashed Al Karim, other faculty members and the External Engagement Team of East Delta University, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Global Engagement and Student Life) Chris Chang, Associate Pro Vice Chancellor (Global Engagement) Bobby Mehta, Director of Global Engagement Emma Payne, Head of International Recruitment Bharat Sakhuja, Regional Recruitment Director (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal) Anamika Saxena, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law Dr. Dominic Page, Global Engagement Associate Dean of Faculty of Business and Law David Ward and TNE Partnership Manager Joe Hall.
As a result of this MoU, students of East Delta University will be able to study for one year at the University of Portsmouth after completing two years of study at their university. Mentionable, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was previously signed between the two universities.
